DLRT, part of the TALL Group of Companies, have won a Virgin Money supplier award for a rapid response to cheque printing solutions. The market leader, based in Lisburn, Ireland, overcame numerous strong nominations and demonstrated ‘true partnership’ to scoop the national award.
Angela Allison from Virgin Money said: “During the running of the project for the launch of the new Virgin Money current account in December last year, cheque design was only considered late on in the lifetime of the project and meant that to deliver an acceptable cheque product that could be launched as part of the account package, timelines were very tight. DLRT moved with great speed to produce a cheque design in line with a conceptual design idea from our Marketing team and turned this around in the space of a week.”
When Virgin Money raised concerns about certain aspects of the design, which had been included for security and regulatory reasons, DLRT arranged a site meeting to walk the team through the design and made tweaks within one day!
Peter Thomas, Managing Director of DLRT, said “It’s important for us to deliver a client service that stands out. After a rapid response to delivering the cheque book, we facilitated testing for the product to provide a total end-to-end solution. The cheque book offered security to the bank, but more importantly to the customer, was aesthetically pleasing and suited perfectly the new corporate branding for Virgin Money.” In winning this award Peter said that DLRT must recognise the help and guidance of Neil Galbally Virgin Money Relationship Manager who was instrumental in our successful delivery.
DLRT was awarded the ‘Delightfully Surprising Award’ during a virtual ceremony held by Virgin Money. The Virgin Money Supplier Awards recognise partner organisations that help them deliver successfully to their customers. The award categories are based on Virgin Money’s brand values including, Heartfelt Service, Delightfully Surprising, and Smart Disruption.
