Scott Onder is the Co-founder and Senior Managing Director of Mercy Corps Ventures, a venture capital fund that invests in high-impact, high-growth startups developing inclusive fintech, climate, and web3 solutions in frontier markets. Mercy Corps Ventures is the impact investing and innovative finance arm of a global development agency and has invested in 40+ seed and early-stage ventures in Africa, Latin America and Southeast Asia.
In addition to capital, MCV provides strategic support and partnership opportunities to help ventures scale. Scott is an early investor in Wasoko, Goldfinch, Pula, Ejara and is on the boards of portfolio companies that drive financial and climate resilience. Scott graduated magna cum laude from Duke University and is based in the Pacific Northwest.
